Praise for The HOUSE on the BEND
The characters just jump off the page! They are compellingly complex and exceedingly relatable. Reach has an uncanny ability to wrap the reader up in their world. This coming-of-age story reminds us of the power of love, and that we are never too far gone to be changed by it. Eagerly awaiting the screenplay!
—Hannah Mwangi, Author of Just Because We’re Different, Artist, Educator.
With this raw, emotional, passionate storyline, M.E. Reach will have you unable to put the book down. The House on the Bend is a story about guilt, shame, reconciliation, and the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. A story everyone can relate to in one thing or another, and something every believer should read at least once.
—Rhonda Wheeler, Social Media Manager, B.S. English
The House on the Bend captures the messiness of humanity in such a raw way. The authentic struggle to do what is right…is illustrated and the significant impact of relationships with others on our lives is emphasized. Long after the last page has been turned, the characters will live on; especially, as I imagine a day when I’ll be brave enough to go to the top of a Ferris wheel, too!
—Dr. Rebecca Estes, Hoosier Educator, Passionate Reader.
