- “Cheryl Gangl’s study on the wisdom in Proverbs is a guide I plan to work through annually. She presents 10 aspects of life that can quickly and easily hinder our ability to honor God if left unchecked. Continually evaluating these areas is an important discipline of the Christian life and Cheryl walks us through Scripture, stories and personal assessments in a simple and easy-to-follow format. The book would work for both group and individual studies and is a valuable resource to share with others we encounter on our journey.” – Jennifer Davis Rash, Editor-elect, The Alabama Baptist newspaper
- “Cheryl Gangl has written an excellent resource for the church. This thoughtful, engaging, and interactive guide will be beneficial for either small group study or personal devotion use. More than simply a study on Solomon’s words in Proverbs, Cheryl uses the whole counsel of the Bible to help the reader identify key characteristics that define a grace-changed heart and thus give the believer tools and tips to help cultivate and bear in their lives some of the God-honoring fruit and attributes that we find in Proverbs. Her questions and exercises will provoke the reader to inspect their personal weak areas, leading to her Bible-rich remedies that will help to re-calibrate the heart of faith. This is a great study – I can’t wait to use it in church!” – John Lemons, Minister to Young Adults, First Baptist Church of Huntsville, Alabama
