Biography
Angela Guy is a writer whose heart is anchored in the quiet, reflective moments of the morning. Living in Northeast Ohio with her husband and four children, Angela has cultivated a life centered on the pursuit of the “abundant life” promised by Jesus. Her work serves as a bridge between the ancient narratives of Scripture and the modern struggle for identity and purpose.
Angela’s passion is to illuminate the steadfast love of God—a love that pursues us even when we are lost in the “wilderness” of our own making. She writes with the conviction that our deepest struggles stem from a “knowledge problem”: the tendency to doubt God’s authority while attempting to crown ourselves as the gods of our own lives. Through her teaching and personal testimony, Angela guides readers away from the exhaustion of self-glorification and into the peace of being truly known by the Great I AM.

The Stepping Stones of Spiritual Maturity explores our transformation when we bring our true selves before our Creator and the freedom resulting from choosing God’s way. Interwoven with her own transformation story, author Angela Guy looks at how the Sermon on the Mount relates to and deepens the Beatitudes by describing them both as a cross-shaped path toward God’s heart, and stepping stones to cross before we can continue along the path. Guy also explores the difference between who we are, compared to a righteous God in whom we learn to abide, and shows how our identity and worth are found in Jesus alone.
Biography
Angela Guy lives in northeast Ohio with her husband and four children. Raised in the church, but going her own way over the years, she has struggled much of her life with feeling seen and accepted. She loves sharing with others how God has provided her with purpose and has healed the deep hurts. She cherishes pondering God’s Word in the quiet of the morning and listening to the wind rustling through the trees. The Stepping Stones of Spiritual Maturity is Angela’s first book, and if it is God’s plan, she would love to pursue writing more books.
